Extravirgin Oil Roccalta- Tereo


ROCCALTA oil is a refined and delicate extra virgin olive oil produced by the combination of different olives: Tonda iblea, nocellara, carolea and moresca cultivars.

It is an excellent blend of refined middle orchard cultivars from the Iblei mountains. It allows the producer to obtain, at the same time, a fragrant, delicate and sweet oil for the largest multitude of everyday consumers who are constantly looking for good product quality.

It is excellent with seafood appetizers, marinade sauces, pasta with shellfish, roasted fish, stewed white meat dishes and goat milk cheeses. It has captivating notes of aromatic herbs.

About the producer:

Located in Buccheri in the Syracusan hinterland on top of the Iblei Mountains at about 900 meters where the view of Catania and Mount Etna is enchanting with a large and hospitable structure, it has several hectares of olive grove and an oil mill. The olive oil is bright green, with beautiful density. The striking recognition is first of all the orange blossom and then the wild rosemary and unripe tomatoes on the finish.
The oil from the Tonda Iblea variety mainly refers to the category of Intense Fruity with the predominance of the spicy note on the bitter.
